Location: Zurich Workload: Full-time Your tasks: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Go, Node.js (TypeScript), Rust, Python and WebAssembly (WASM) Own system architecture, including microservices, async integrations, and ETL pipelines Implement complex business and data-processing logic, including accounting workflows, reporting systems, and financial software integrations Improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency Collaborate with CTO, product, and customer-facing teams on solution design Mentor engineers and establish backend engineering best practices Your profile: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience Proven expertise in backend development with Go, Node.js, Rust, Python and WASM Deep experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and data pipelines Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pieplines, and production deployments Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives end to end Experience with accounting or financial software systems Excellent communication skills in English. (written and spoken C1 level or higher)
